Universal Belongings was founded on the belief that the right essentials can bring people together — and that everyday excellence should be accessible to all.
Born in Hong Kong and based in New York, I started the brand to merge Eastern communal values with Western tabletop culture. As an architect and frequent host in a small Manhattan apartment, I’ve learned that even a modest set of well-designed goods can create generous gatherings.
Our home goods are refined but unpretentious, distinctive yet approachable. They’re built to last — beautiful for the table, tough enough for daily use. By selling directly and skipping traditional retail, we deliver quality craftsmanship at an honest price.
The word belonging speaks to both treasured objects and the feeling of being at home. Our mission is to create pieces that embody both.
