Care - Candle Precautions
On first use, burn the candle until the entire surface melts for 2 to 3 hours — this will prevent the wax from tunnelling down around the wick. To help prevent smoke, residue, ensure the wick is trimmed to a maximum length of 5mm (0.2”) on subsequent uses. Use a snuffer or lid to put out the flame to avoid spillage. If necessary, re-center the wick with care after extinguishing the flame while wax remains molten.
Burn attended within sight, and keep away from open windows and flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets. Only burn the candle on a level, fire-resistant surface; avoid placing the candle on fine surfaces. Never handle or move the candle when lit or in a molten state. Do not burn candle for more than four hours at a time. Do not light a candle that has less than 5mm (0.2”) of wax remaining or with the wick tripod exposed.
